For Jewel

ArashiNoHime (left) is my character from PWI and Bijoux (right) is Jewel's character. They're both venomancers, standing by their mount of choice. Arashi is in the Dusk Rose set (very me, lol) and Bijoux is in the plumed embrace set.

I've been meaning to do this all summer, but needed to finish Heather's piece before I could start on this. I'm very pleased with the result. Earlier drafts made it similar to a large group image with various references to a no longer played Barb. But I'm glad I made myself stick to this simple design. I need to learn not to always try and make things over the top.

So for this I knew that I wanted it to be viewed as one piece, but also to be viewed as two separate ones too. These two are a packaged deal, but aren't always together (we solo a lot of quests). The sort of opposing quality to the colors (warms and cools, darks and lights) was coincidence at first so I tried to continue that theme into the background.

And hurray for textures! I think I'm improving the more I try to use them.
