I’m having a little bit of a conundrum.

I unearthed a binder today while trying to regain control of my bookcase. This particular one was used to store sketches and inkwork. I know it might be really uncommon nowadays, but I usually sketch and ink by hand.

I used to just toss the sketches and inkwork once I used them in digital pieces. But one time I had a lot of files corrupt on me and I couldn’t rescan the linework for some as I had pitched it. Since then I began hoarding it in this binder.

The binder literally has up to possibly a decade of work, excluding things used for comics. I’ve tried to sell individual pieces on and off through the years, but nothing ever sold. Which isn’t surprising, as it’s all essentially wip pieces for finished digital ones.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what to do with it. I know a part of myself is going “You can’t just through this stuff away!” or “Keep it and you can sell it at cons!” I’ve only ever had a table once at a con, and that was many, many years ago. I can’t just subtly throw away a gigantic stack of paper without my mother finding it—-then dealing with my mother hoarding it instead [you see, if mom does it than it really doesn’t solve the problem.]

I really cannot justify keeping it, I don’t know what to do with it. I’ve spent the better part of an hour trying to research anything on what to do with it, but I’ve found nothing.

So pls, my tumblr watchers who are artists—what the hell should I do?
